Nestled in beautiful Belltown Karan Dannenbergs store offers a retreat from the large malls and department store shopping. Karan started out by selling clothing out of her house specializing in travel wardrobe. While she was involved in a transformational seminar company, Landmark Education, she spoke about opening up a retail shop. It has now been six successful years since those words were spoken, and Karan’s apparel has been recognized by women all around the world. Her first location was located on Battery Street just around the corner from her current location on 1st ave in Belltown. Karan picked the Belltown area of Seattle because it was a young neighborhood back then and finds being next to the top apartments and restaurants help with clientele.
Committed to transforming women’s images and wardrobes, Karan brings in a diverse array of designers from all over the world. She offers what she calls a “bridge price point”, working with many fabulous unknown designers such as Canada’s Margaret M., ITA, and Spy, along with Artico from Italy. If you are looking to truly escape other shoppers you can set up a private appointment to have the shop all to yourself. Karan also gives back to her community by supporting local charities.
